Churchville 6 at Disc Golf Course Review

Course is almost unplayable at this point (or an optimist might say it is extremely challenging) as three holes have been subjected to a Baltimore County reforestation project. There was a contract set up with Baltimore County to put some trees on that piece of property to improve storm drainage. I don't know the full details of it, but SHDGC and Churchville Rec were supposed to be involved to make sure the trees would not interfere with the course. Obviously that did not happen. We are now in the process of arranging for some of them to be moved. Currently the trees block the tees of holes 2 and 6. And nearly all of hole three has become a tree farm. Please be patient as we work this out. Will update when more info is available. Thanks.
On July 16, 2011, the Scarboro Hills Disc Golf Club (SHDGC) in association with the Churchville Recreation Council will opened the "Churchville 6" Disc Golf Course on the grounds of the Churchville Recreation Center, Churchville, MD. The "Churchville 6" is beginner/practice course designed, funded, and installed by the members of the SHDGC. The SHDGC and its members are focused on teaching the great sport of disc golf to people of all ages and are particularly focused on teaching the sport to families and children. The "Churchville 6" provides a fair and easy course for people to learn and practice their games and, as the case with all Harford County Parks and Recreation parks, is free to use.
